What makes you eligible to work as a cabin crew across India?
- One must have finished at least class 12.
- Having a graduation or post-graduation degree is equally relevant.
- One’s marital status should be unmarried at the time of application or joining.
- If you fall in the age bracket of 18-27, you are welcome to work in this ever-evolving industry.
- When it comes to height, 155 cm or anything above that is acceptable in case of girls.
- Boys have to be a little more taller in comparison to girls. 170 cm or anything above that is positively welcomed.
- An eyesight of 20 out of 30 is allowable. However, anything more than 20 is highly appreciable.
- Although, having a visible tattoo on your body can diminish your selection chances. Say no to tattoos!
- Unfortunately, if you already have one or two or more tattoos, get it removed as quickly as possible otherwise give up on this dream of becoming a cabin crew.
- The aviation industry is very much particular about “No Piercing”. Mind it seriously if you are willing to work here.
- It’s terrible to say that you can’t have wild or spicy hairstyle. Both boys and girls are instructed on “what kind of hairstyle to keep” by the airlines.
Role of group discussion and Personal interview in one’s selection
The first hurdle in your way of becoming a cabin crew is “GD round” or group discussion round. Surprisingly, group discussion round is implemented by airlines to eliminate mass number of aspirants.
